Samuel
Berryman was called from the home of his son, JB Berryman, 2626 Fourth Avenue,
Moline at 11 last evening after an illness with pneumonia. Mr. Berryman was
born in Putnam County, Indiana March 1, 1837 and had lived in that state
practically all his life. He was a devout member of the Christian Church,
having been affiliated with that denomination for years. He leaves, in addition
to the widow, one son, JB Berryman of Moline and four daughters: Mrs. L.
Whitinghall, Mrs. Lula Wheelbey and Mrs. Ella Stanley of Indianapolis, and Mrs.
Mattie Fergeson of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Funeral will be held from the Berryman home in Moline, Rev. JA Barnett
officiating. Burial will be in Riverside
cemetery. Time of services has not been set.
